Johnny Michalek Reflects On 60 Year Anniversary Of Family Business
“My grandparents, Mike and Betty Michalek, took a chance in June of 1963 and formed GCCS. Mike would handle claims during the day and Betty would get home from her day job and type up Mike’s reports at night. It’s hard to believe that 60 years later, we are in the same building in which the company began. While we have grown considerably, my Dad, Jim, and I have maintained the model of slow and calculated growth with capacity management at the forefront. We’re proud of our claims administration reputation and grateful to our clients who have supported us all these years.”
